ODL is a public institution established in 1961 and governed by the law of the 04th of December 2019, that offers two different tools to accompany you on your international development:
- support through a partial contribution to international promotion costs;
- insurance against the risks associated with international transactions and foreign investments.
The insurance solutions mainly apply to non-OECD markets and the insured operations are generally guaranteed by the Luxembourg State. Only risks linked to current operations in OECD countries are covered without a state guarantee. When the intensity and duration of the risks exceed its capacities, ODL can intervene on behalf of the state. ‘Tailor-made’ insurance solutions can be developed for both SMEs and international groups.
